Peace Lily Care Tips:
Light: Peace Lilies thrive in low to medium indirect light. They can tolerate low-light conditions, but brighter indirect light encourages more blooms. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Peace Lilies droop slightly when thirsty, but avoid letting them stay dry for too long. Reduce watering in winter.
Humidity: Peace Lilies love humidity. Mist the leaves occasionally, especially in dry indoor conditions, or place the plant on a tray of water with pebbles to boost humidity.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, like a standard indoor plant mix, to prevent root rot. Make sure the pot has drainage holes.
Temperature: Keep the plant in a warm environment between 18°C-27°C. Avoid drafts and cold temperatures below 13°C.
Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 6-8 weeks during the growing season (summer). No fertilization is needed in winter.
Pruning: Remove yellow or dead leaves to keep the plant looking its best. Cut off faded or brown flower stalks to encourage new blooms.
Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound, using fresh soil. Peace Lilies can thrive slightly root-bound but appreciate fresh nutrients.
